There is a reported second pulse found signaling from the missing flight MH370 that disappeared March 8th 2014. Australian officials say that the second signal detected by a Chinese ship aiding in the search efforts of the missing airplane is consistent with those of the aircraft's black box. Australian and US officials have not yet verified the pulses are coming from the missing flight. Only god knows, hopefully this mystery will be solved soon and the family member of the missing aircrafts passengers will finally be able to know the truth.
Battery power is fading in the black box recorder and only a little bit of time is left to be able to find it.

Saturn's Moon Candidate For Life
One of Saturn's 50 moons, Enceladus is now considered a top candidate for life.
Buried underneath miles of ice, there is a liquid sea the size of Lake Superior. Scientists had previously suspected Enceladus may have an underground ocean.
This latest study calculated the density of material in different parts of Enceladus after three gravity-measuring flybys.
Those measurements revealed there's something underneath Enceladus' ice in the south that's denser than the ice.
Liquid water is the most likely explanation, says David Stevenson, a planetary scientist at the California Institute of Technology who also worked on the study.

Windows 8.1 Update 1 Features Reveiled
Microsoft release's the first update to the Windows 8.1 Operating System. Windows 8.1 Update 1 is set to be released April 8, 2014.
Some of the new features:
Boot straight to the Desktop: As was previously rumored, Windows 8.1 Update 1 will allow users to boot and resume straight to the classic desktop UI, allowing them to bypass the tiled Modern UI altogether. This will likely be a welcome feature considering that the Modern portion of Windows 8 hasn’t been well received since it debuted back in late 2012.
Changes to the Taskbar: With Windows 8.1 Update 1, you can use both desktop programs and Windows Store apps from the classic desktop UI. Windows Store apps will also work on the desktop UI’s Taskbar as well, and a new button on the Taskbar will permit you to access the Windows Store without forcing you to dive into the Modern UI to do so. With Windows 8.1 Update 1, the Taskbar will be accessible while using Modern apps by moving your mouse pointer to the bottom of the screen.
Tweaks to the Modern UI Start screen: The Modern UI Start screen will also receive some tweaks, including dedicated Power and Search buttons. The addition of a dedicated power button in the Start Screen will allow users to power their PCs off without having to open the Charms menu, shaving some seconds off the process of shutting down their systems. Newly installed Modern apps will be labeled “New,” and will pull up a drop-down menu when right-clicked, as opposed to the bar on the bottom of the screen.

Cheap Upgrades to Help Boost PC Speed
Does your computer feel like it's running slow as molasses? Well I have some cheap or free solutions to help speed up your pc's performance.
1. First step I would suggest is to get rid of all the junk.
Download this free software called PC Decrapifier. It gets rid of preinstalled programs and junk files that aren't needed or really necessary quickly and easily.
Another nice program that I personally use and will allow you to do this is called CCleaner. CCleaner also gets rid of the same junk files but can run a bit deeper scans than PC Decrapifier can. SlimCleaner is also another useful software program that works just the same.
You can download them free using these links and give them a test.
2. While not free unless you know someone that has some extra RAM, it's a quick and cheap way to upgrade your desktop PC or notebook PC. You can purchase some on the internet as long as you know the right size you would need to install and you also would need to know if you have extra RAM slots inside your PC.
Head over to Kingston to use its search feature to find the right size you need.
3. Defragmenting your hard drive is really a good thing to do periodically.
Defraging your drive helps by moving the empty disk space together sort of like, squishing the used space together so that the hard drive can run the processes it needs to run quickly.
I would suggest to do this at least once a week since stuff usually gets downloaded, moved around and deleted all the time.
It can be accessed from:
- Windows Vista/7: Start > All Programs > Accessories >System Tools > Disk Defragmenter
- Windows 8: Open the Charms bar and search for "Optimize Drives" and then click on Defragment and optimize your drives
Regular updates for the drivers should be manually checked to make sure that the drivers are up to date and current too.
I hope you enjoyed this quick guide and it helps out some people.

Tech giants join forces to combat anti-snooping from the government
Eight major U.S. web companies to include Apple, Facebook, Google, AOL, Microsoft, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Yahoo joined forces to combat the recent government snooping that has been happening lately to protect its users from its online surveillance missions that its been doing. Its about time somebody that has some sort of power to stand up against the government snoops and take back our rights.
They written in an open letter to President Barack Obama and Congress saying the recent revelations showed the balance has gone too far and has tipped in the favor of the state in many countries and away from the individual.
Leaks from the former NSA contractor Edward Snowden exposing some of the top secret government surveillance programs has raised some major concerns which proves that the government has went against some of our rights that are enshrined in our Constitution. "This undermines the freedoms we all cherish and it's time for a change." This is written in the letter that was submitted on Monday 12/10/2013.
We will see how the government reacts to this. I doubt Obama will do anything about this but it is a major move towards the rights of individuals as a whole, not just for the United States citizens but for the whole world wide web.

Vodafone The Top Mobile Phone Providing Network
Vodafone is one of the top mobile phone providers around the world these days. Vodafone operates in over 30 countries around the globe. Today there are over 403 million users that have subscribed to Vodafone's network. Little is known about Vodafone here in the United States but actually Vodafone used to own 45% of Verizon Wireless which is very well known here but was later bought out by the world's leading mobile company just recently on 2 September 2013. Verizon Communications acquired the rest of its stake that Vodafone had in the competitive mobile phone market for a whopping $130 billion dollars. Wow I wish I had some of that, might have to invest in some stocks.

Nissan Rolls Out With Its Newest Beast
Nissan has done it once again with its newest beast of a racing car, the ever popular Nismo race inspired version of the GT-R will make a full 600 horsepower. Not far behind is the base 2-seater version which won't be left in the dust by the Nismo version will have about 50 horsepower less than its popular twin.
The 2015 Nissan GT-R's specs will put out a whopping 595 horsepower and 480 lb-ft of torque. 0 - 60 MPH testing has been on the hush but Im sure this awesome car is pretty dang fast. This was one of my favorite cars to use in the ever popular Gran Turismo franchise on the Playstation gaming system. Pricing is set to be around $200,000 for this sexy car. My son loves the look of this car, he calls it racing car :)

Windows 8.1 Screen Dim
I recently updated to the new operating system by Microsoft from Windows 8 to Windows 8.1. I'm still really not sure what the difference actually is except the start button appears back in the toolbar and there are supposedly more apps in the Windows store. I have noticed that my laptop screen has changed some settings and the screen appears to dim and brighten itself. I found this to be really annoying so I have found the solution for this. Hopefully it doesn't cause many headaches for everybody else.
You can disable this feature which can be really annoying, I was starting to think I should get my eyes checked. This is also a known annoyance in Windows 8 too, I just probably haven't noticed it due to changing my power settings awhile back.
To disable the auto brightness feature in Windows 8
- Open the control panel by moving the mouse to the lower right corner which will pop up the charm menu
- Click on the settings charm
- Open up the control panel
- Click on System and Security
- Click Power Options
- Adjust your power plan by changing the power settings

International Space Station accidentally infected with Malware
The International Space Station has been accidentally infected by a Russian cosmonaut by the infamous Stuxnet computer virus via USB stick. Eugene Kaspersky, a Russian security expert known for the Kaspersky antivirus program, said that the Stuxnet virus infected a nuclear power plant in Russia "badly damaging their internal infrastructure as well as the International Space Station (ISS). Details are little on how badly the virus affected the ISS operations. Seriously how can somebody even do that?? Shouldn't these astronauts know better since they do have security clearances for this.
The stuxnet virus was alledgedly jointly created by the US and Israeli military forces to seriously damage Irans ongoing nuclear program. Come on smart people how can you infect a space station with some malware, Do you not practice information systems security??? I think we should go clear the virus out for them because they apparently don't know what they are doing unless it was intentionally put there.
